“A disclaimer! I absolutely hate having my photograph taken. If I had a choice between a root canal at the dentist or having my photo taken, the root canal would win!

When I realised that my brand photos were taken over a decade ago and needed updating, I spent a lot of time looking at websites and reading the Google reviews of different photographers around Perth. I wanted someone who took photographs of real people (like me), and could understand my brand.I got that and more! Tanita is amazing!

The Zoom chats that we had beforehand to check we were a good match for each other, also helped me to feel more comfortable with here before photo day. She asked me lots of questions about what I do and how I work with people to ensure I had photos that would work with what I am doing now (as well as with my future goals). Plus the list of things I needed to consider (and prepare for), what to bring on the day, organising make-up and providing me with different options for a location that would work for my brand.

But what I really liked about working with Tanita, is how she managed my discomfort with being photographed. She organised the shoot so that the important 'headshots' were taken at the end, when I was feeling more relaxed. She's a 'smart cookie'!
