Do you offer branding packages?

I don't offer packages. Instead I meet with you, talk about your individual needs and then customise your quote.  This way you are getting exactly what you need for your business. 

Can I choose to have location shoot instead of studio?

Absolutely! My first love is natural light photography.  We can go on location at your workplace, a place in nature or an urban location. Together we choose the best choice for your business branding photos.

Why should I have a studio shoot?

A studio versus location shoot is purely a personal choice.  It really depends on your business and the mood you are going for in your branding images.  Studio photos are a great choice for clean, natural headshots and also for website banners and social media posts where you require a white or coloured background.  My studio is also the perfect choice for your product photography and personal stock images.

Do you help me prepare for my shoot?

Of course! Without a full brand consultation with you it's impossible to understand you or your business.  By taking the time to meet, talk through your business direction and reasons why you need a shoot I get to know you better. This leads to natural photos with connection because on shoot day you are relaxed, organised and you know me better too!

During the consultation we discuss your branding elements and graphic design, any rebranding you may be doing, website and sales pages, FB / google ad needs, mood and feel of images, wardrobe styling, hair and makeup and also props and accessories that can be included.  This full consultation is undertaken once you have booked in for your shoot and paid your 50% confirmation fee.  I love these consultations as you will walk away brimming with ideas and excited about your shoot!

Do you have a hair and makeup artist?

Yes I do! Bronwen Kolinac is my team member for all my clients hair and makeup services.   She's so talented and such a warm, friendly lady. Her specialty is applying makeup that is natural and flattering and that looks very minimal in your photos.  This is particuarly important for more mature skin.  Bronwen uses the Inika range of organic makeup that is not only gentle on your skin but also cruelty free.  You will love Bronwen as much as I do!

How will I receive my photos?

You will receive your photos in a password protected private gallery.  I send it to your via email and then you access it with your password.  This gallery can be shared with your graphic designer, web designer or friends if you allow them, otherwise it's for your viewing only. 

How many photos do I receive from my shoot?

The amount of photos you receive depends on the quote I customised for you in our initial meeting.  Of course if you decide you would like more once you receive your online gallery then you are welcome to purchase additional images.

What type of digital files will I receive?

For all my shoots I deliver low and high resolution files, this way you have maximum flexibility for all your marketing needs.  Low resolution photos are a smaller file and are a good option for social media posts or schedulers, high resolution is perfect for your website or print.  I am always happy to discuss website placement and use of photos in social media with my clients. 

Do you do retouching?

Yes I do. Retouching is a very personal choice and I apply it in a minimal way, only to highlight your natural beauty not to make you look totally different.  After all, customers meet you in person so you need to be recognisable.  My aim for your photo shoot is for you to look like you, but on your best day.  Professional, elegant and confident.

What happens if the weather is bad for my shoot?

Ah the weather, if only we could control it! But of course we can't so I always keep an eye on the weather and if within 48 hours it looks like it will be a wild, rainy day then we reschedule.  It is better to postpone your shoot than have images that you are not happy with because the weather restricted the shoot.  If it's impossible to reschedule then we can always go to an indoor location or my studio.

Can you please help me choose my photos?

Yes I am happy to do this and I love hearing your feedback. There's no need to be confused or overwhelmed so I'm happy to talk it through with you to work out what will work best on your website, sales pages and social media.

Do you keep the original photos in case I want some in the future?

I do and you are more than welcome to come back to me 6 months or a year down the track and request additional images to purchase.

Do you do product photography?

Yes I love product photography and can shoot your products in my studio using natural light or my professional studio lights.  I can also come to you if it's easier and this can be discussed in your initial consultation.

I have a large team can you bring your studio equipment to me?

Luckily my studio lights and backdrop are easily made mobile so if you have a team and would like headshots and portraits on location then I am happy to come to you.  I just need an area to set up all my equipment and this can be discussed with you prior to booking.

Do you photograph events?

Of course! I love photographing events as the spirit of community and support when women come together is just magical.  It's always my pleasure to showcase your event so you can effortlessly promote in the future.

Do you shoot video?

Yes, I have a very talented videographer on my team who assists me in all my videography.  Isobel Gee is a creative, fun and seriously talented young woman who I adore working with.  We can assist you in projects such as short website videos, event montages, testimonial videos and instructional product videos.

What is your confirmation fee?

When you have received your proposal and you are ready to book in your shoot I require a 50% confirmation payment of your total invoice.  This secures your shoot day and then the balance is due when your gallery is delivered.

How much notice do I need to give you to reschedule?

At least 48 hours is appreciated when the need to reschedule arises.
