It’s the simple things that bring a family together just like in Tara’s where a love of reading, imagination and a Harry Potter obsession is part of the joy that connects the 3 generations of women in this family. 

Christmas is always a time full of family traditions so a perfect time of year to take portraits for the 3 Generations of women in Steph’s family. Photos that they can treasure forever.

They say never work with children or animals but seriously how can you resist?  A beautiful granddaughter and loved family pet made for some truly special moments at this family shoot.  Their photos show the strong bonds, lode and respect  that exists between the 3 generations of women in this family.

After the family session with Jules, her daughter and two granddaughters I thought ‘Wow what a role model for this women”.   As a beautician and massage therapist Jules, from Sole Revival Perth, is all about self-care.  Talking time for yourself because as she said to me’ you service your car regularly, why not make sure you take care of yourself too.”

When you’re having a branding shoot for your business you need to have some family photos taken too!! And that’s exactly what happened at Heathcote in Applecross where Erin’s business ‘Perth Makers Market’ is based.

Denmark in Western Australia is one of my favourite places.   I love the tall trees, pristine beaches and plenty of bush walking.  So when I had the chance to take branding and family photos for Fin I was very excited.  Their property ‘Karri Aura’ was a beautiful backdrop, endless nature around and sweeping views giving a softness and sense of home to the photos.
