Ultimate girls week away | fiji retreat photography

Last month I was the official retreat photographer at the Ultimate Girls Week Away for Liesel Albrecht at 'Retreats for Resorts’. I used my talents to capture the retreat as it unfolded.  From when the attendees arrived from all corners of the globe there was a sense of excitement and anticipation. 

The best part about shooting retreats is seeing the connections and friendships between the women take place and the amazing transformations that unfold.  Without my photos there would be no record of these moments!  And for the organiser my photos help promote and sell out future events effortlessly.

Working on retreats is where my work flows and I thrive.  I'm like a little butterfly flitting from workshop to speaker to events capturing the essence of the retreat with my invisibility cloak on.

Keynote speaker Elizabeth Gilbert ('Eat, Pray, Love' & 'Big Magic') was such a gracious special guest and such a thrill for me to take photos of her immersed in the retreat. She was generous with her time, chatting with everyone, sharing in our sunset swims and speaking about permission, boundaries & being a relaxed woman.

It really is true that retreats change lives and I'm so happy to be a part of them.

UGWA 2021 is in March in Vietnam! It's sure to be a sell out now that my stunning photos have shown how amazing UGWA 2020 was ;-) Gabby Bernstein (The Universe Has Your Back) is one of the special guests that I will be clicking away at, it's going to be fabulous.
